Maintaining our strong links with Edinburgh College, we welcomed another group of Panamanian primary school teachers to St Michael's this week. The teachers were fascinated by the education system in England. The enjoyed seeing the vibrant life of school and were very impressed by the resources which were available for the children to use.
The teachers accompanied the Pandas class to Eucharist and also led small groups for an intercultural workshop on the topic of Panama in the Ocelots class. The children used the opportunity to ask questions and find out about Panama as well as learning new Spanish vocabulary and extend their language skills.
It was a mutually beneficial visit.
