Ford Castle 2017

13th March 2017

What an amazing time! Our Year 4 children embarked on their residential visit to Ford Castle last week from Wednesday to Friday.  The children looked fantastic in their bright red hoodies and were raring to go.  Activities included: photo trail, obstacle course, high all-aboard, night-line, archery and many more.  Fencing in the long gallery was a particular hit with real foils and armour! We were lucky to have a walk in the countryside with our old-friend Jim - a Ford Castle veteran!

The children were fantastically behaved, which included helping and supporting one-another, providing encouragement and being great friends.

Staff from St Michael's were privileged to join the children for this time and other members of staff came up in the evenings to join in with the evening fun and games!

As-ever this will be an experience to treasure for many years.  Parents will be treated to a debrief and sharing session in school very soon.
